Applicant must be a mechanical engineer with exceptional mechanical aptitude and five plus years of professional experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of designing, developing, and launching products from concept to GA (general availability).
• Execute all ECs and DCs with complete compliance to change management protocols (ISO 9001).
• Develop test plans (DOE) and necessary fixtures to validate design requirements.
• Documentation Standards: 100% adherence to established design and documentation standards.
• Design housing for PCB and batteries that will survive ALT, shock and vibration testing.
• Source components and materials.
• Select machines and perform initial setup for new processes.
• Balance multiple projects at a time.
• Keep abreast of the latest technological advancements to integrate into your work.
• Other duties as assigned.
