The ideal candidate will be a hands on Welding Engineer who excels at data management and has significant technical welding knowledge. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze and improve existing manufacturing, welding, and inspection processes to increase throughput, efficiency and product quality.
    • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and 5S principles.
    • Drive the implementation of standard work practices and visual management tools to reduce waste and increase consistency.
    • Partner with Quality and Sales to evaluate and qualify new and existing vendors
    • Participate in internal CAPEX and process development projects to support operational goals.
    • Provide technical guidance and act as a backup to other engineering roles as needed.
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all technical processes and updates.
    • Preferred Experience/Education:
      • Bachelor’s Science in Engineering
      • 3+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing setting
      • Six Sigma certification, TOC, or formal lean manufacturing training is a plus
      • ERP system (Syteline) proficiency and experience with job scheduling tools
      • Experience managing CAPEX and internal process improvement initiatives.
      • Serve as Project Manager for assigned internal and external projects, from estimating to execution and close-out.
      • Create work orders within the ERP system with clear production and vendor instructions.
      • Build and manage detailed project schedules and budgets aligned with customer requirements.
      • Monitor project performance and provide timely updates to management and customers.
      • Act as the primary point of contact between ETW and project stakeholders
      • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to meet project goals and timelines.
