Welder Fabricator

DESCRIPTION

The Welding Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and welding various components for the production department as per drawing specifications, safety procedures, approved weld procedures and quality assurance requirements.

SKILL & TASK REQUIREMENTS

1. Meets standard work requirements for fitting and welding complex level assemblies
2. Demonstrates consistent ability to weld GTAW 1F-4F
3. Skilled in the operation of available hand and air tools (die grinder, angle grinder, drill, skill saw, gouging etc.)
4. Displays constant attention to precision measurements & details
5. Demonstrates quality at source
6. Ability to complete complex crane lifts
7. Ability to lift 50lbs and possesses manual dexterity

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience
• Welding Certificate, CWB certification, C-ticker or higher an asset
