Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on is seeking a candidate to mig weld automotive lifts and lift components as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Mig weld components for automotive lifts
Place components on paint line
Drive forklift when needed
Assist in implementation of 6S initiatives and activities with an emphasis on safety
Suggests and assists in process improvements which assures safety, quality and efficiency is built into the process
Assist in assembly and fabrication processes as needed
Qualifications
Ability to be certified in mig welding in the horizontal position
Ability to read a tape measure
Basic blueprint reading
Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization
