Structural Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Welders for projects located in and around Paducah, KY.  This is a first and second shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $24/hour based on experience plus $100/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Structural Welder eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

 Job Scope:         

• Perform structural welding for new construction on river barges and towboats

• Flux core welding .052 dual shield on carbon and stainless steel

• Back gouge, root pass, and cover/fill

Requirements:

• • Must be able to back gouge, root pass, and cover/fill

  • Visual inspection only – must pass as 1st Class

  • Complete online yard orientation prior to test date

  • Must provide own tools and PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots, gloves, face shield, etc.)

  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and specifications

  • Reliable transportation to and from job site
