Position Summary
We are seeking a bilingual Maintenance Technician to handle preventive and corrective maintenance of our equipment, forklifts, trailers, and facility. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Coordinator and includes occasional support for transporting materials or products (≈10% of the time).
Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on forklifts, trailers, compressors, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and report equipment and facility conditions to the Warehouse Coordinator.
• Plan and execute maintenance schedules and keep accurate service records.
• Assist with minor repairs and coordinate with external providers for major repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area, including tools and spare parts.
• Operate forklifts as needed to move materials and equipment.
• Occasionally drive a Ford F-250 with an 18-ft flatbed trailer to transport materials or products.
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
• Authorization to work in the United States (valid work permit or status required).
• Proven experience in industrial maintenance (forklifts, facilities, tools).
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and industrial safety practices.
• Valid driver's license with experience towing large trailers preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification preferred (company training available).
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials, and use heavy tools.
• Safety-focused mindset, organization skills, and continuous improvement attitude.
Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 70 lbs without assistance.
• Climb on and off vehicles, ladders, and forklifts regularly.
• Work in environments with heat, dust, or noise.
• Consistent use of PPE as required by OSHA standards.
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive Pay: $18.50 per hour (W-2 employment).
