Position Summary
As the Maintenance Lead, you will work in a safe and efficient manner to ensure that the preventive maintenance schedule is followed, and you will be on call for unscheduled repairs as required. This position reports to CEO and is a member of the food safety team.
Job Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, install and repair complex electrical equipment following wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot, install and repair ovens and combustion systems and their safety devices.
• Maintain installed compressed air systems.
• Troubleshoot, install and repair pneumatic valves, cylinders and related pneumatic components.
• Assist with and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot to determine required part replacements.
• Perform work on roof-top, climbing ladders.
• Have working knowledge of the following:
o MIG/TIG/ARC welding
o Power tools (grinders, drills, cut of saws, etc.)
o Multimeter (voltage, amps, resistance)
o Forklift, scissor lift operation.
• Perform other work and other job assignments as required.
• Must be on-call for unscheduled repairs.
• Must be willing to work overtime.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, technical or military environment.
• In lieu of experience, on the job training may be offered if applicant has completed technical training (trade school).
• Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
The starting pay for this position is $19 per hour (doe).
Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
