Flux Core / MIG Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring highly skilled Flux Core and MIG Welders for projects located in and around Terrell, TX.  This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of $35-37/hour based on experience plus $125/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Flux Core and/or MIG Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Fabricate and assemble large industrial water-holding tanks
• Perform high-quality Flux Core (FCAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on heavy plate and structural applications
• Fit-up, prep, and control heat to achieve strong, consistent welds
• Maintain weld quality, consistency, and structural integrity throughout production
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards on site

Requirements:

• • Minimum 5 years of experience welding with Flux Core & MIG in tank fabrication, heavy plate, or structural steel applications
  • Must have strong fit-up, prep, and bead quality skills
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and welding symbols
  • Experience with water-holding tanks, vessels, or heavy structural steel is strongly preferred
  • Must pass a spot-check weld test
  • Have own hood and basic gear for testing
  • Only welders with demonstrated pressure/tank or vessel experience will be considered
  • This is a precision, high-quality welding position — not general production welding.
