Fitter / Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Fitters / Welders for projects located in and around Olean, NY.  This is a second shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $35/hour based on experience plus $125/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Fitter/Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

• Fit and weld steel components according to blueprints and shop drawings
• Perform FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) using 1/8" wire
• Complete test position 14F in compliance with AWS D1.5 standards
• Tack and fit materials accurately and safely
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area

Requirements:

• • Must be able to certify to AWS D1.5
  • Prior bridge welding experience strongly preferred
  • Must be capable of fitting and tacking from blueprints
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Standard PPE required (welding hood, gloves, safety gear)
