Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain entire warehouse building, both inside and outside, in a safe productive and efficient manner.
Repairing, fabricating, and welding of racks, dock plates, dock doors, and overall building.
Repair dock lights, lights, and other electric appliances.
Respond to fire alarms.
Repair plumbing and sprinkler systems, handle testing, contractor safety, PPM readings, calibration of instruments, PC controls on computer that monitors refrigeration systems, PMC 2000 software system, computer skills – MS applications.
Work closely with others in the department and share responsibility in solving problems, coordinating work activities, and repairing equipment. Be a positive team-oriented associate and have good follow through.
Effectively interact and work with manager to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective operation.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of shop and shop equipment through regular inspections.
Troubleshoot problems.
Ability to work various days and times based on the needs of the business.
Clean up work area and tools between job assignments.
Must have experience in residential remodeling, plumbing, electrical, welding, garage door repair and low voltage security systems/cameras.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on industrial equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair of industrial equipment.
Repairs damage to industrial equipment when it occurs.
Assists in developing and editing the tasks required to develop and update preventive maintenance procedures.
Documents the use of man-hours and any supplies or parts used.
May be called upon to help with other maintenance activities including building maintenance and refrigeration maintenance.
