Location: Adkins, TX 78101
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site (W-2 Salaried)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Salary: $38,000 - $45,000 per year
Reports to: HR Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR & Recruiting Assistant to support our Human Resources department with recruiting, employee administration, onboarding, and general HR operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, thrives on organization, and wants to grow their career in Human Resources.

The selected candidate will play a key role in attracting talent, maintaining employee records, supporting day-to-day HR processes, and helping build a strong workforce across administrative and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Post job openings and actively source qualified candidates.
  • Screen applicants and coordinate interviews.
  • Conduct initial phone and in-person interviews.
  • Support hiring for production, warehouse, welding, painting, office, and administrative positions.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment records.
  • Partner with managers to understand hiring needs and job requirements.
  • Support recruitment improvement initiatives and hiring strategies.

HR Administration

  • Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation.
  • Maintain employee files and HR records (physical and digital).
  • Support document tracking, compliance files, and administrative deadlines.
  • Perform data entry, reporting, and HR system updates.
  • Assist with employee communications and internal HR processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department and other business areas as needed.

Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the United States required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, HR support, or administrative roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience interviewing and evaluating candidates preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
  • Experience with job boards and recruiting platforms preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work on-site in an office environment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the facility as needed.
